I work in silver, gold, steel and bronze using processes that include casting, forging, granulation, fusing and chasing. My work begins with cast and carved wax, plaster or direct construction in metal. The techniques of fusion and granulation make use of the different solidus/liquidus characteristics of metals, enabling me to manipulate the particular qualities of each metal, creating an organic and expressive whole based upon a strong formal structure.
