I am motivated to create through observations of movement in its dense form and ephemeral line, seen in traditional modern dance movements and in the culture of Break Dancing.
The figurative brooches are composed of etched Britannia and sterling silver; brilliant cut diamonds, 24ct gold plate, milled Perspex, faux wood Formica and part oxidisation. Processes chosen to give character, linear definitionand movement to each form.
